FlashChange Teams Up with Ruth Foundation to Empower Alimosho’s Vulnerable Children

In a commendable effort to uplift future generations, FlashChange has partnered with the Ruth Foundation to launch the “Orphanage Skill Acquisition Assembly 2.0,” a skill development initiative designed for vulnerable children in the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State.
This five-day program, which commenced on April 14, focuses on equipping children aged 4 to 18 with valuable life skills, including financial literacy, fashion design, photography, creative arts, cooking, and leadership development.
During the closing ceremony, Olamide Ajibola, Chief Operating Officer of FlashChange, expressed his enthusiasm for the impactful initiative. “We are thrilled to take part in this transformative effort. At FlashChange, we recognize that children are the foundation of every community. By investing in their development today, we are nurturing future leaders and innovators who will contribute positively to society.”
Ajibola further emphasized the organization’s commitment to community engagement and its dedication to corporate social responsibility, particularly in human capital development. He commended the participating children for embracing the opportunity for change and praised the facilitators for their vital role in imparting essential skills.

The founder of the Ruth Foundation, Itunuoluwa Ruth Da-Silva, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to partners like FlashChange for their unwavering support of the program. “This year, 153 vulnerable children benefited from the Orphanage Skill Acquisition Assembly 2.0, with training held simultaneously at Compassionate Orphanage Home, Precious Pearl Orphanage, Little Saints Orphanage, and House of Mercy Orphanage. Providing these children with knowledge and skills at an early age can generate a transformative ripple effect throughout the community.”

Jesujoba Ojelabi, Chief Marketing Officer of FlashChange, commended the Ruth Foundation for their initiative and encouraged the children to apply the skills they have learned. “We are proud to support the foundation and urge you all to become ambassadors of this initiative. The skills you’ve acquired hold the potential to change your lives for the better.”
To further enhance the children’s development, several essential items were donated, including electric sewing machines, cake mixers, sewing supplies, and make-up kits.
FlashChange and the Ruth Foundation call on community leaders, governmental organizations, and private sector partners to support initiatives aimed at equipping children with essential skills to thrive in our rapidly changing world.
