Minister of Trade, AfDB President Set to Visit SAGLEV’s EV Assembly‎ Plant in Lagos

‎All is now set for the familiarization tour of SAGLEV’s State-of-the-art EV Assembly plant by the Honourable Minister of Industry,Trade and Investment.

‎Jumoke Oduwole and the president of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Dr Akinwumi Adeshina who will also tour the facility as part of his ongoing efforts to support regional sustainable industrial development and climate-resilient transportation  infrastructure.

‎This was disclosed recently in a press statement by SAGLEV Media Relations, according to the information made available , Electromobility Company Limited announced that it is honoured and prepared to receive the two distinguished personalities to it’s Electric Vehicle (EV) Assembly and manufacturing faciltiy on July 30th and 31st respectively.

‎According to the company the visit of the honorable Minister underscores the Federal Government’s growing commitment to green industrialization,local manufacturing,and innovation in Nigeria’s automotive sector.

‎SAGLEV, Nigeria’s pioneer indigenous EV assembler and manufacturer, currently produces 16 electric vehicle models spanning ride-hailing cars, status sedans, mid-sized delivery EVs, BRT buses, and utility trucks.
