Next Generation Nigerian Leaders Emerge as Woodhall Mentorship Concludes in Lagos

In a period characterized by renewed investor confidence and economic revival, Nigeria’s Woodhall Capital International Foundation (WCIF)—the philanthropic arm of the prominent financial advisory firm, Woodhall Capital—successfully wrapped up its six-week intensive mentorship initiative on Wednesday, May 21. The program, developed in collaboration with Mentor Intro Africa—an esteemed platform connecting Africa’s emerging talents with global mentors—aimed to cultivate the next generation of influential business leaders.

The timing of this initiative couldn’t be more opportune. With Nigeria experiencing a resurgence in business confidence and a rising demand for goods, services, and visionary leadership, the foundation’s effort seeks to equip young professionals with the skills and mindset necessary to drive the continent’s economic future.

The program brought together 40 carefully selected mentees from diverse sectors including finance, media, healthcare, technology, and social enterprise. Participants gained access to high-impact mentorship, strategic business insights, and an ecosystem conducive to professional development. Beyond skill acquisition, the program fostered meaningful dialogue, leadership growth, and the emergence of a new cadre of industry captains.

During the grand finale, themed “Captains of Industry,” Mrs. Mojisola Hunponu-Wusu, President of Woodhall Capital Group, expressed pride in the program’s achievements. “We’ve cultivated a new wave of Captains of Industry,” she remarked. “What sets them apart is their consistency and commitment to becoming serious-minded leaders ready to influence Nigeria and the global stage.”
