The Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria (EXMAN) has unveiled an ambitious lineup of programmes for its highly anticipated 2025 Brand Experience Summit, Annual General Meeting (AGM), and EXMAN Awards during a media parley held in Lagos. The event promises to be a transformative gathering aimed at shaping the future of experiential marketing across Africa.

In her opening remarks, Mrs. Tolulope Apinke Medebem, President of EXMAN, emphasized the association’s commitment to innovation and industry growth. “This year’s summit theme, ‘Personalization at Scale: From Insights to Impact in a Data-Driven, Immersive World,’ is both timely and transformational,” she stated. “As we delve into AI, automation, and analytics, our core challenge remains: how do we scale intimacy without losing authenticity?”

The summit, scheduled to take place at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Ikeja Lagos, will feature a series of engaging activities. It will kick off at 10am with a high-impact session presenting the Lagos Business School’s 2024/2025 Industry Report on Experiential Marketing Trends and Consumer Behavior, presented by Dr. Uchenna Uzo. This research aims to unpack real market data, academic insights, and frontline industry experiences to guide future strategies.

Distinguished speakers include Mrs. Victoria Ajayi, Group Managing Director of TVC Communications, who will explore “Unpacking the Role of AI in Reshaping Consumer Experiences and Enabling Personalization at Scale,” and Mr. Feyi Olubodun, Founder of Open Squares Africa, who will discuss “The Intersection of Data and Storytelling: How Brands Can Leverage Insights to Craft Impactful Narratives.” These keynote addresses will be complemented by panel discussions on “Data-Driven Creativity” and “Designing for Emotion, Precision & Personalization,” featuring industry experts sharing real case studies and innovative insights.

Adding to the excitement, the summit will showcase the Student Innovation Challenge, where university students mentored through a rigorous boot camp will present bold new ideas, spotlighting the future talent of Nigeria’s marketing industry.

Two breakout sessions—*The Power of Data: Personalization, Privacy & Purpose* and *Pixels & Presence: Blending AI & Physical Brand Worlds*—will allow delegates to explore deeper facets of the evolving industry.

Complementing the summit, the EXMAN AGM and Awards themed “Building Bridges and Strengthening Bonds” will be held to foster collaboration, transparency, and industry standards. Agnes Ailuelohia, Chair of the AGM & Awards, highlighted the importance of unity: “Beyond awards, this is about recognizing strategic thinking, ethical execution, and cultural relevance. We’re welcoming new agencies into the fold, strengthening our collective voice.”

Mustapha Owolabi, Chairman of the BEX Summit 2025 Planning Committee, underscored the importance of collaboration: “In today’s marketing landscape, staying personal at scale while maintaining human connection is the challenge we aim to address.”

Mrs. Medebem concluded her speech with a call to action, urging agencies not yet part of EXMAN to join and be part of a movement that is shaping experiential marketing in Africa. “Together, we are stronger. Together, we can professionalize, protect, and promote our industry for the long term,” she affirmed.

The 2025 programmes are designed not only to inform but to inspire a future-forward, human-centered industry that leverages technology and cultural insights. With an impressive lineup of speakers, activities, and a focus on innovation, EXMAN’s Lagos event is set to be a pivotal moment for experiential marketing across Nigeria and beyond.
