Cavista Holdings Promotes Olumide Olayomi to Executive Director/Vice President of Government and External Affairs

Cavista Holdings has elevated Olumide Olayomi to the role of Executive Director and Vice President of Government and External Affairs. Formerly serving as Director of Government and External Affairs, Olayomi is a distinguished governance expert and institutional strategist with over 30 years of experience spanning Nigeria’s public and private sectors. He is renowned for his skill in navigating complex policy landscapes and aligning interests among government, business, and communities.

With academic credentials in Geography and Planning, complemented by executive training from Lagos Business School, Olayomi has held influential roles including Head of Government and Community Relations at Etisalat (now 9mobile), Corporate Services Lead at Churchgate Group, and Special Assistant to the Lagos State Government’s Secretary.

In 2016, he served as the Sole Administrator of Apapa Iganmu LCDA, overseeing services for over one million residents while championing transparency, reform, and effective leadership.

His private sector experience includes strategic roles at Olivestrength Nigeria Ltd., and he has been an advisor on governance, intergovernmental relations, and public sector performance. He also chairs Omonide Farms Ltd., and is a Fellow of LEAD International, a Justice of the Peace, and a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered). His contributions extend to Lagos State’s tax reforms and participation in numerous international leadership forums.
