Goddie Ofose, Editor-in-Chief of The Industry Newspaper

The Industry Newspaper, Nigeria’s leading brand marketing publication, has introduced a new platform, ‘Industry Men of Impact,’ aimed at honoring the top 50 distinguished and upwardly mobile male professionals across sectors such as integrated marketing communications (IMC), entertainment, banking, telecommunications, entrepreneurship, tech, and energy.

Building on its established initiatives like The Industry Summit and Awards, and The Industry Women Conference, this new event underscores the publication’s commitment to recognizing excellence and leadership among men in the industry.

The inaugural ‘Men of Impact’ event, themed “Empowering Men: Achieving Balance in a Fast-Paced World,” will feature a panel discussion with prominent industry practitioners followed by the presentation of plaques to the selected top 50 male practitioners for their outstanding contributions in 2025.

Scheduled for Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, at Radisson Blu, Isaac John, GRA, Ikeja, the event will commence at 2 pm.

According to Goddie Ofose, Editor-in-Chief of The Industry Newspaper, the selection process involved the paper’s editorial team and influential brand and marketing journalists. He explained that the ‘Men of Impact’ are individuals who are making significant strides in driving industry growth, fostering innovation, mentoring talent, shaping policies, and promoting diversity.

Ofose emphasized that recognizing these men serves multiple purposes: inspiring younger professionals, promoting positive industry images, and encouraging healthy lifestyles and emotional well-being. He highlighted that such recognition can also help break stigmas around men’s health and mental wellness, fostering a more open and supportive environment.

He added, “Acknowledging the contributions of male practitioners boosts morale and motivates others to excel. Celebrating these leaders underscores their influence in shaping the future of our industry.”

The full list of the Top 50 ‘Men of Impact’ will be revealed during a media conference in Lagos on Monday, September 22nd, 2025.
