IIF Opens Nominations for 2025 Impact Investing Awards to Celebrate Social Changemakers

The Impact Investors Foundation (IIF), Nigeria’s premier platform dedicated to promoting impact investing, has opened nominations for its highly anticipated 2025 Annual Awards for Impact Investing. Now in its seventh edition, the awards honor outstanding organizations and individuals whose investments, products, or programs generate tangible social and environmental benefits while fostering sustainable business growth.

The winners will be celebrated at the distinguished IIF Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony scheduled for November 6, 2025, during the 8th Annual Convening on Impact Investing in Lagos.

Ms. Etemore Glover, CEO of the Impact Investors Foundation, emphasized the significance of the awards, stating, “These awards have consistently highlighted pioneers who prove that capital can—and should—drive social change alongside financial returns. Recognizing these leaders aims to inspire others to embed impact into their investment and business strategies, propelling Nigeria toward a robust impact economy.”

Since its inception, the IIF Awards have spotlighted visionary entrepreneurs and resilient changemakers across sectors including healthcare, education, agriculture, gender inclusion, and financial services. Past recipients such as Alitheia Capital Management, FAMASI Africa, and the Centre for Legal Support and Inmates Rehabilitation (CELSIR) exemplify the tangible social progress driven by impact investing.

Building on this legacy, the 2025 Awards continue to honor those demonstrating that entrepreneurship, investment, and social good are mutually reinforcing.

Nominations are open to individuals and organizations across Nigeria and West Africa that can showcase measurable impact and a commitment to inclusive, sustainable development. Eligible candidates are encouraged to visit the IIF Awards website to review criteria and submit their entries by September 30, 2025.

The IIF remains dedicated to fostering a thriving impact investing ecosystem by reducing barriers, nurturing investment pipelines, unlocking private capital, and promoting sustainable impact.
