NEMCEA 2025 Reveals Nominees for Awards as Event Set to Hold

The Electronic Media Content Owners Association of Nigeria (EMCOAN) is excited to unveil the nominees for the upcoming NEMCEA 2025 “The Awards,” scheduled for September 16th and 17th, 2025, at the renowned Radisson Blu Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos.

Now in its fourth edition, the Nigeria Electronic Media Content Exhibitions and Awards (NEMCEA) continues to celebrate excellence, innovation, and creativity in the media industry. This year’s nominees span a wide array of categories, including Television, Radio, Online Platforms, and International Content, showcasing the rich diversity of Nigerian and global storytelling.

Key categories include:

– Best Overall TV Drama Series: Closets, Reformed Thief, We Happy People
– Best Actor: Victor Ifeanyi Aneme (We Happy People), Gabriel Afolayan (Closets), Bukumi Odewunmi (*All in Pieces)
– Best Actress: Ronke Odusanya (Closets), Angel Unigwe (All in Pieces), Marvel Bassey (Sands of Time)
– Best Short Film: Parting, African Ordeal Explained in 3 Minutes, Voice of Hope
– Best Radio Talk Show: Pathway to Jannah, Wives Round Table Radio Show, Teen Vibes Express
– International Drama Series: Twist of Fate (Zee World), Game of Love (Star Life), Love of My Life (GMA Network), Velvet – El Nuevo* (Telenovela)

In addition to the competitive awards, NEMCEA 2025 will honor industry icons with Special Recognition Awards, acknowledging their significant contributions to media content, innovation, and social influence. Recipients include Mr. Jimi Odumosu, Mr. Olu Jacobs, Mrs. Jibe Ologeh, Ijeoma Onah, NTA, and Radio Nigeria.
