LG Electronics and CleanAce Foundation Team Up to Empower Stakeholders in Nigeria’s Fabricare Industry

LG Electronics Nigeria and CleanAce Foundation & Academy have teamed up to invigorate Nigeria’s fabricare and dry cleaning sector through the Hyper Masterclass Conference, themed “Making Audacious Moves in 2026.” The event, aimed at members of the Fabricare Professionals and Drycleaners Association (FDPA), provided attendees with cutting-edge insights and practical strategies, encouraging professionals to take bold steps and propel the industry’s growth.

The conference concluded with a gala and awards night, attracting top industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and government officials. The Lagos State Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Honourable Akinyemi Bankole Ajigbotafe (represented by Mrs. Abiose Taiwo, Director of Entrepreneurship Development), delivered a goodwill message on behalf of the Ministry. She reaffirmed the government’s dedication to supporting professional bodies like FDPA in creating wealth and opportunities for Lagosians.

Mr. Eniibukun Adebayo, Founder of CleanAce Foundation & Academy, opened the event with an inspiring message: “Making audacious moves isn’t about recklessness, it’s courage guided by wisdom. Our industry stands at a crossroads of opportunity and responsibility. This masterclass was designed to empower professionals with the clarity, knowledge, and confidence to make bold decisions in 2026, decisions anchored in understanding, not fear.”

Samuel Odenusi, Head of Commercial Laundry Business, Nigeria, at LG Electronics, highlighted the importance of investing in reliable, high-performance equipment to foster customer trust and increase profitability. “Clients judge a business by its tools, and LG is proud to support the industry with technology that delivers efficiency and dependability,” he stated.

Renowned keynote speaker Dr. Olakunle Iyanda, Founder & CEO of Broot Consulting, challenged attendees to “move first, learn fast, and win early.” He urged business owners to concentrate on plugging “trust leaks” within their operations: “When clients trust you, everything else gets easier. Be honest, be clear, and let your team in on the dream.”

Practical sessions covered essential topics for 2026, including updates on new tax laws (with insights from Mr. Abriel Akinlolu of Fin-Goal Consulting) and risk management strategies led by Mr. Peter Ajagunna of Temple Insurance Brokers Ltd. Participants left equipped with strategies for compliance, growth, and resilience.

The evening’s gala celebrated excellence within the industry, presenting awards for public service, leadership, discipline, professional contribution, and more—underscoring the sector’s dedication to quality and community.
