Xiaomi Launches REDMI Note 17 Series in Nigeria
Xiaomi has launched its REDMI Note 17 Series in Nigeria, unveiling four smartphones at an event attended by company representatives, channel partners, dealers, distributors and technology influencers.
The launch comes as global shipments of the REDMI Note Series surpass 500 million, according to the company. The new line-up comprises the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G, REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G, REDMI Note 17 Pro and REDMI Note 17.
Xiaomi said the series was developed under the “Built for Years” philosophy, with a focus on durability, battery life and performance. The company describes its approach to long-term dependability as REDMI Titan Quality.
The REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G leads the line-up with a 10,000mAh battery and 100W HyperCharge. Xiaomi said the battery can provide up to three days of use on a single charge and retain at least 80 per cent of its capacity after 1,600 charge cycles, which it equates to six years of typical use.

Dr Fred Nnadike, CEO of Finet, Xiaomi’s distribution partner, said the company would help extend the series’ availability across Nigeria.
