Ebola: 2Sure Launches Nationwide Hand Hygiene Campaign, Offering Free Sanitiser Sachets

Homegrown personal hygiene brand 2Sure has launched a nationwide community sampling and public education campaign, distributing free handwash and sanitiser sachets to schools, public transport hubs and hospitality venues.
The initiative, called “Be Sure With 2Sure”, will see the brand distribute millions of free sachets while promoting everyday hand hygiene in high-traffic community spaces.
Founded in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, 2Sure was established to make high-grade hygiene products accessible to Nigerian households. The brand says the new campaign is intended to support communities amid heightened public health vigilance.
The campaign follows public health advisories from the Federal Ministry of Health and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), which have urged Nigerians to remain vigilant, particularly regarding contact-transmitted pathogens such as Ebola.
Health authorities have emphasised that thorough handwashing with soap and water, or the use of an alcohol-based sanitiser, is an important measure for reducing the spread of infections. Crowded public spaces can expose people to frequently touched surfaces, including transit handrails, door handles, cash and service counters.
“2Sure was born in 2020 when hygiene became a national priority. Today, our responsibility goes beyond providing consumer products. As public health vigilance ramps up across the country, we are committing resources to ensure Nigerians have immediate, everyday protection,” said a spokesperson for 2Sure.

Institutions and establishments in Nigeria can request free sanitiser samples through the brand’s online portal: https://2sure.ng/ebola-prevention-initiative/
2Sure also encourages the public to follow guidance from accredited health authorities and wash their hands thoroughly after using public transport, handling cash or visiting public places.
