Interswitch showcased its latest healthtech offerings at the 111th Regular Meeting and 2025 Annual Conference of the Committee of Chief Medical Directors (CMDs) and Managing Directors (MDs) of Federal Tertiary Hospitals in Nigeria (CCMDFTH). The event, held at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Enugu, from October 14 to 17, 2025, emphasized the theme, “Smarter Processes, Better Healthcare.”

Over four days, healthcare leaders, policymakers, and digital innovators gathered at the Best Western Hotel, engaging in technical sessions, exhibitions, and high-level discussions aimed at transforming Nigeria’s healthcare landscape through digital solutions.

Interswitch played a prominent role, with an interactive exhibition booth and a compelling presentation by Babatunde Fadeyi, Vice President of the Health Ecosystem at Interswitch. Fadeyi’s session attracted significant attention from senior healthcare officials, highlighting the company’s vision of a connected, data-driven health system in Nigeria.

During his address, Fadeyi emphasized, “At Interswitch, we’re not just building technology; we’re building bridges—connecting care providers, patients, and policymakers. Our platforms like HIMS, eClinic, and Smarthealth are empowering hospitals and HMOs to adopt digital transformation—making healthcare more transparent, efficient, and patient-centered.”

Interswitch showcased its suite of innovative digital health solutions designed to streamline hospital operations, improve administrative efficiency, and enhance patient outcomes. The Health Information Management System (HIMS) facilitates seamless data exchange and claims processing across providers and HMOs. The eClinic platform supports electronic medical records, replacing paper-based processes, while Smarthealth offers telemedicine, symptom checking, geolocation, and personalized wellness tools.

Delegates, including CCMDFTH Chairman Prof. Emem Bassey, visited the exhibition stand and praised Interswitch’s contributions to healthcare digitalization and system transparency. Throughout the event, healthcare leaders engaged with Interswitch’s product specialists, exploring how these solutions can address longstanding operational challenges.

By participating in this high-profile conference, Interswitch reaffirmed its leadership role in driving digital healthcare transformation across Nigeria. The company aims to deepen collaborations with hospitals, policymakers, and technological partners to expand the reach of its healthtech solutions, ultimately fostering smarter healthcare processes, stronger systems, and improved health outcomes nationwide.
