Lush Hair Nigeria Empowers Warri-Based Stylist, Others in New CSR Initiative
Lush Hair Nigeria, a leading name in the beauty industry, has unveiled a heartfelt CSR initiative aimed at empowering local hairstylists and uplifting communities across the country. The first chapter of this inspiring project took place in Warri, Delta State, revealing a touching story of resilience and renewal.
The initiative was born during a visit by Lush Hair’s Brand Ambassador, renowned comedian and advocate Real Warri Pikin. While reconnecting with her roots in her childhood neighborhood, she reencountered Aunty Rita, the hairstylist who once styled her hair as a young girl.
The reunion was bittersweet. Real Warri Pikin discovered that Aunty Rita’s salon, once bustling and full of promise, had fallen into disrepair. The business was struggling, the space was dilapidated, and she lacked access to modern tools and training. Moved by her story, Real Warri Pikin reached out to Lush Hair Nigeria for support.
In response, Lush Hair Nigeria revitalized Aunty Rita’s salon, transforming it into a modern, inviting studio equipped with the latest tools, fresh branding, and a welcoming ambiance. But the support went beyond physical improvements. Aunty Rita was also flown to Lagos for intensive training at the Lush Hair Professional School, where she learned new styling techniques, customer service skills, and business management—empowering her to rebuild her career with renewed confidence.
