NACCIMA Appoints Arc. Zakirudeen Oladotun as China Relations Executive to Strengthen Bilateral Trade Ties

The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) has announced the appointment of renowned strategic business consultant, Arc. Zakirudeen Oladotun, as its new China Relations Executive.
The appointment was formally communicated through a letter signed by NACCIMA’s Director General, Engr. Olusola Obadimu, FNSE, FCIoD, dated Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
In the letter, the DG praised Oladotun’s outstanding contributions to NACCIMA’s successful participation at the 138th Canton Fair in Guangzhou, China. The appointment also recognizes his instrumental role in organizing the NACCIMA Business Forum held concurrently with the trade fair, which significantly enhanced Nigeria’s visibility at the event.
“Your dedication, resourcefulness, and deep passion for strengthening Nigeria-China economic cooperation were evident and greatly enhanced the visibility and impact of the delegation,” the letter stated.
Arc. Oladotun is a multidisciplinary entrepreneur and seasoned business leader with over 20 years of experience managing projects across diverse sectors. He currently serves as the CEO of Trends Group of Companies.
An accomplished architect and planning professional, Oladotun also chairs the Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME), Kwara State chapter. With extensive international exposure and cross-border engagements, he has cultivated key business networks in several countries, notably maintaining active relationships with major Chinese institutions and private sector stakeholders.
He is a certified Business Development Service Provider accredited by Nigeria’s National Steering Committee on Business Development Service Providers (BDSPs).
In his new role as NACCIMA’s China Relations Executive, Oladotun will spearhead efforts to deepen Nigeria’s private sector relations with China. His responsibilities include facilitating high-value business exchanges, trade missions, and investment partnerships, as well as expanding engagement with Chinese government agencies, trade organizations, and business entities. Additionally, he has been appointed the official coordinator of NACCIMA’s participation in all Canton Fairs and other business events in China.
