MAN Pays Tribute to Ex-President Buhari, Highlights His Impact on Manufacturing

The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) has joined the nation in mourning the passing of Former President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, a leader who served Nigeria both as a military head and as a civilian President from 2015 to 2023.
The association in a statement said that throughout his tenure, President Buhari was committed to fostering Nigeria’s economic growth, improving infrastructure, and promoting industrial development. His administration brought increased focus to manufacturing as a vital engine of economic progress and job creation. Despite economic challenges during his leadership, Buhari actively engaged with the manufacturing sector, granting the association and other stakeholders audience to seek solutions for overcoming constraints that hindered sector performance. He also worked to address some of the key challenges faced by Nigerian manufacturers.
