Modion Communications Rebrands as Creato Urban to Reflect Global Ambitions

Modion Communications, one of Africa’s most acclaimed PR-led integrated communications agencies, has announced a major rebranding as it marks ten years of innovative campaigns, strategic insight, and reputation leadership. Starting December 2025, the agency will operate under the name Creato Urban /kriːˈɑːtoʊ ˈɜːrbən/, unveiling a refreshed identity that signals its expanded capabilities and bold international outlook.
Throughout its decade-long journey, Modion Communications has executed some of the continent’s most influential campaigns, shaping public discourse, influencing cultural trends, and transforming brands across more than 20 sectors. Notable achievements include winning the prestigious SABRE Platinum Award—the first and only Nigerian PR agency to earn this honor—and becoming the first African PR firm to win the ICCO Next Gen World Cup. These milestones highlight the agency’s international creative excellence.
“Reaching our 10-year milestone provided a powerful moment for reflection and reinvention,” said Odion Aleobua, Founder and CEO of Creato Urban. “Creato Urban signals the path we have been building towards – new, bold, daring, yet deeply strategic. It sharpens our belief in the power of creativity to shift how people think. This transition comes at a time when we are expanding our reach, strengthening our craft, and entering new spaces with audacity and inventive strategies across industries and regions.”
The rebrand to Creato Urban follows months of strategic planning, brand realignment, and the development of an enhanced creative intelligence framework. The new identity emphasizes the agency’s focus on strategy, storytelling, digital intelligence, reputation and crisis management, cultural influence, and brand transformation—an integrated suite designed to meet the evolving needs of both African and global brands.
“Our work has always been rooted in unrelenting creativity,” Aleobua added. “Creato Urban carries that energy forward. It gives us the headspace to think more boldly, create without limits, and deliver work that shapes minds and markets.”
As Modion Communications transitions into Creato Urban, it reaffirms its commitment to the principles of excellence, innovation, and strong client partnerships that defined its first decade—while moving confidently toward a future of global relevance and creative leadership.
