Leadway PFA Named Pension Company of the Year at 2026 BAFI Awards
Leadway PFA has been named Pension Company of the Year at the 14th BusinessDay Banks and Other Financial Institutions (BAFI) Awards 2026, recognising the company’s work in pension administration, investment management and customer service.
The award recognises pension administrators for performance across investment management, contributor growth, customer experience, technology and access to retirement services.
The recognition comes after more than 20 years of experience in pension administration and fund management. Following the integration of Leadway Pensure and PAL Pensions, and the company’s rebranding as Leadway PFA, it now manages more than ₦3 trillion in assets for over 1.2 million Retirement Savings Account holders.

The company said it continues to develop its customer service capabilities and digital pension solutions to make retirement planning and pension management more accessible. It added that it remains focused on helping individuals and organisations prepare for retirement through pension administration and long-term fund management.
Leadway PFA has also received recognition for its customer service. In 2025, it won a Gold award for Customer Service Excellence at the West Africa Innovation Awards for the third consecutive year. It was also named West Africa Pension & Lifestyle Company of the Year, following similar wins in 2023 and 2024.
