Wema Bank has announced the 21 finalists who will compete at the grand finale of Hackaholics 7.0, its youth- and startup-focused innovation programme. The finale is scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026, in Lagos.

Themed Festival of the Future, the event will bring together innovators, technology leaders, startup founders, investors and other participants in Nigeria’s innovation ecosystem for a showcase of ideas and technology.

The finalists are Dynalimb, Harthiq, Acceede, Vhorde, URI, Trarrk, SocialSign, RaverPay, All-Arbitrates, CitizensGage, Craft-Planet, FOID, PayByPalm, Niteonn, Nexa-AI, Neural-Forge, MamaAlert, JolliFlow, Becca, CropiQ and Middleman.

Launched in 2019, Hackaholics gives young innovators a platform to develop technology-driven ideas into solutions to real-world challenges and build their presence in the global technology and digital sectors. Wema Bank says the initiative has received more than 21,000 applications, engaged over 50,000 participants, supported more than 10,000 startups across three countries and helped develop over 100 solutions from scratch.

The seventh edition began on July 1, 2026, attracting 5,329 participants and generating 1,632 ideas and solutions across seven pitch centres: Uyo, Kano, YabaTech, Benin, Ibadan, Enugu and Lagos. After the nationwide programme, 59 participants advanced from the centres, with 21 selected through a multi-stage evaluation process.

Finale week will feature three days of activities. On Wednesday, November 4, finalists will take part in the Pre-Pitch, presenting refined versions of their solutions. The following day, they will join an Ecosystem Tour powered by Wema Bank, visiting institutions in the technology and innovation sector and meeting industry professionals. The programme will conclude with the grand finale on Friday, November 6, where outstanding innovators will be recognised.

Through Hackaholics, Wema Bank says it aims to identify emerging talent, create opportunities for young innovators and support solutions to real-world challenges. The programme is part of the Bank’s wider effort to help build an innovation ecosystem in which new ideas can develop and thrive.
