Bogo Beverages has officially commissioned its new 80,000-capacity factory in Ikorodu, Lagos, in what stands as one of the largest single investments in Nigeria’s beverage manufacturing sector this year. The commissioning ceremony drew government officials, industry leaders, distributors, and representatives of the host community.

The plant will manufacture a portfolio spanning carbonated soft drinks, juice, spirits, bitters, and water, giving Bogo Beverages the capacity to compete across five beverage categories from a single manufacturing hub. The facility is projected to create more than 10,000 direct and indirect jobs across production, logistics, distribution, retail, and allied services along the value chain.

Speaking at the commissioning, Dr. Godwin Oche, Chief Executive Officer of Bogo Beverages, described the N20 billion investment as a statement of the company’s longterm commitment to Nigeria and its confidence in the resilience of the Nigerian consumer market.

“This factory gives us the opportunity to capture value across multiple categories, accelerate our growth, and rebuild our business model around scale, efficiency, and local capacity. More importantly, it allows us to deliver value to all our stakeholders, from our employees and distributors to our consumers, host community, and shareholders,” Dr. Oche said.

The Ikorodu facility features automated production lines, quality assurance laboratories, and energy-efficient systems built to international manufacturing standards. Its location gives the company direct access to Lagos, Nigeria’s largest consumer market, and serves as the springboard for nationwide distribution and our international operations (Ghana and Kenya). Production begins immediately, with products expected on shelves across the country in the coming weeks.
