Guinness Nigeria Reports 20% Revenue Growth to ₦142.27 Billion in Q2 2026

Guinness Nigeria Plc has announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ending June 30, 2026, reflecting another period of robust growth and operational excellence. The company declared an additional interim dividend of ₦7.00 per ordinary share, complementing the earlier ₦2.00 per share dividend paid this year. This brings the total interim dividend to ₦9.00 per share, highlighting the Board’s confidence in the company’s sustained earnings, healthy cash flow, and promising long-term outlook.
Building on a successful start to the year, Guinness Nigeria maintained positive momentum across its business segments. The company reported revenue of ₦142.27 billion, marking a 20% increase from ₦118.66 billion recorded in the same period last year. Gross profit rose to ₦53.99 billion, while operating profit grew to ₦24.34 billion—testament to disciplined execution, enhanced commercial strategies, and a relentless focus on operational excellence.
The company’s financial strength was further demonstrated by a significant reduction in net finance costs, which declined to ₦1.75 billion from ₦4.61 billion in the previous year. Profit before tax increased to ₦22.59 billion, and profit after tax surged by 57% to ₦14.91 billion—up from ₦9.48 billion in Q2 2025. Earnings per share improved to ₦6.81 from ₦4.33, underscoring the company’s profitability and resilience.
In line with its commitment to delivering value, the Board approved an additional interim dividend of ₦7.00 per share, representing a distribution of approximately ₦15.33 billion. This follows the initial ₦2.00 per share dividend paid after Q1, bringing the total declared for shareholders to ₦9.00 per share.
