Kola Omisore to Launch 20th KOLAtoons Soccer Tournament on April 18

Local Council Development Area Secretary Kola Omisore, who started his career as a marketing communications professional, is set to host the 20th edition of the KOLAtoons 5-aside Football Tournament on April 18, 2025, at Gbeleyi Primary School in Amje, Ojokoro, Lagos State. The tournament aims to nurture local football talent and promote the values of teamwork and discipline among the youth.
Omisore emphasized the significance of the KOLAtoons Soccer Initiatives for the Ojokoro community, stating that the tournament has become a vital event that celebrates not only the sport but also resilience, community spirit, and purposeful leadership.
“As we launch this landmark 20th edition, we are not just celebrating football; we are ushering in a new era of service, support, and shared progress in Ojokoro. This event symbolizes our commitment to a brighter future for the next generation,” he remarked.
In addition to the tournament, Omisore announced plans to distribute food palliatives to 750 families in the community, underlining his dedication to inclusive development. “I am proud to stand with my people in all aspects of life and work towards a shared vision for our future,” he added.
Omisore will also unveil his agenda, encapsulated in the acronym “S.E.R.V.I.C.E,” which focuses on Security, Social Inclusion, Empowerment, Religious Diversity, Values, Care, and Equality for the youth. “Our aim is to create a safe and supportive community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive,” he stated.
He reiterated his commitment to ethical governance and innovation, aiming to position Ojokoro as a model for effective governance and sustainable development.
