“These individuals have contributed immensely and are still contributing to the development and continuous growth of the Broadcast Media Content Industry in Nigeria.

“Alhaji Lai Mohammed PLANTED the SEED, Toyin Subair WATERED the SEED and Dr. Oialekan Fadolapo is giving LIGHT & LIFE to the SEED. These trios are instrumental and key to the current revolution we are witnessing in the Industry today; we are believing strongly that it will start blossoming very soon.”

Earlier, NEMCEA Jury Chairman, Okey Ogunjiofor, revealed that 105 entries were received but only 47 entries made the nomination list.

In his words, “Without any doubt, reward systems are not just testimonials to the hard work and professionalism of industry practitioners alone, but platforms created to energise the recipients to do more and grow the ecosystem for the benefit of all. NEMCEA Award is therefore a much-needed impetus for the expansion of the creative space. Expectedly, from the maiden edition till the third, there has been a steady increase in the number of entries yearly.

“This year, my colleagues in the jury, Patience Oghre Imobhio, Cordelia Okpei, and myself have thoroughly pored through the various 105 entries for this 2024 edition, and thereafter published 47 nominations across the categories from which winners emerged.”
