LCCI, MAN, NACCIMA Leaders to Share Industry Insights at CICAN 2026

The Commerce and Industry Correspondents Association of Nigeria (CICAN) will bring leaders from major business and industrial organisations together for its 2026 National Workshop and Award Ceremony on Thursday, November 19, at Protea Hotel, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
Expected speakers include Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Director-General Dr. Chinyere Almona; Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) Director-General Segun Ajayi-Kadir; Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) Director-General Engr. Sola Obadimu; and Kosofe Chamber of Commerce and Industry Founder and President Mr. Joe Femi-Dagunro.
Their participation is expected to bring business and industry perspectives to discussions on Nigeria’s manufacturing sector, local production, investment and the wider business environment.
In a press statement issued in Lagos and signed by National Chairman Comrade Taiwo Hassan and Secretary-General Comrade Olufemi Orioye, CICAN said the leaders would contribute their experience and institutional insights to discussions on strengthening local production, improving the business climate, attracting investment and supporting sustainable industrial growth.
The discussions are also expected to explore how the organised private sector can support economic diversification, job creation, export growth and the global competitiveness of Nigerian businesses.
The workshop will provide a forum for stakeholders to assess emerging economic conditions, exchange ideas and consider practical approaches to the challenges facing businesses and industries.
An award ceremony will also recognise individuals and organisations for their contributions to Nigeria’s commerce, industry and economic development.
CICAN said it expects the participation of the business and industrial leaders to strengthen collaboration between the media and the organised private sector and add value to the workshop.
The event is expected to draw government representatives, business executives, manufacturers, financial institutions, policymakers, industry leaders and media professionals from across the country.
