Nestlé Nigeria: Our Infant Formula Products Are Not Affected by Global Recall

In light of recent news about a voluntary and precautionary recall of specific batches of Nestlé Infant Formula in some countries, Nestlé Nigeria has issued a statement to clarify the situation. The company stated, “We would like to clarify that Infant Formula sold by Nestlé Nigeria is not part of the voluntary and precautionary recall of specific batches of Infant Formula announced in some countries.”
Nestlé Nigeria emphasized that all their Infant Formula products, including SMA (SMA Gold 1, SMA Gold 2, and SMA Gold 3) and NAN (NAN Optipro 1, NAN Optipro 2, and NAN Optipro 3) ranges, are safe for consumption. The products sold by Nestlé Nigeria are officially registered with the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and are not affected by the recall.
The company reassured consumers that “the safety and quality of our products, and the health of babies, are our top priorities.” Nestlé Nigeria continues to uphold strict standards to ensure the safety of its products and the well-being of its consumers.
