Osun State Governor Appoints Adegbodu Twins as Special Advisers on Entertainment and Tourism
The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has appointed Gospel Singers, Adegbodu Twins as special advisers on Entertainment and Tourism. The appointment is part of the state government’s effort to revamp the entertainment and tourism industry.
The appointment was based on the hard work and resilience of the twins in gospel music over the years.
Adegbodu Twins recently announced that they would launch a ‘festival of light’ in December to honour Osun State Governor.
The twins are also set to celebrate their birthday on Oct.4 with plans to release a 50-track album, the first of its kind in history.
As part of the celebration, they plan to present a plot of land to their band boys in Ibadan. They also plan to open a multimillion-dollar audio/visual studio in Ibadan soon.
The twins were on a musical tour in Europe in March where they visited Spain, France, Germany, and Holland. They also went to Jordan for a pilgrimage in June this year.
They also recently bagged an ambassador deal with Yes Fm 101.7 in Ibadan and are planning to host a concert next year titled ‘God concert’, where 10 gospel artists and 10 Muslim artists are to perform together on a stage.
The twins have been singing professionally for 25 years with their first album launched in 1999.
