The contest had participants go through various stages, with increasing levels of challenge. Beginning with the blind rounds, contestants then proceed to the battle rounds, the knockout phase , and, finally, the live performance shows where the winner emerges.
The Voice Nigeria spanned over 21 weeks of practice, rehearsals, performances, and self-evaluations, before the grand finale at which the young singer Pere Jason was announced the winner of the competition.
