Rotary International District 9111 to Host Public Image Seminar Focused on Enhancing Credibility, Visibility

Rotary International District 9111 has concluded plans to host it’s Public Image Seminar on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., under the theme, “Strengthening Rotary’s Credibility and Visibility Through Strategic Communication.”The event will be held at the Keystone Bank Hall, Rotary Centre 8, Ladoke Akintola Street, Ikeja GRA, Lagos.

District Governor Rotarian Prince Henry Akinyele emphasized the significance of the seminar, stating, “This day promises to be transformative, aimed at improving how Rotary is perceived and celebrated within communities.”

Chief Yemi Akeju, Chairman of Ideas Communications Ltd, will serve as the event’s chairman. The keynote addresses will be delivered by Ogun State and Lagos State Commissioners for Information, Mr. Kayode Akinmade and Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, respectively.

The Theme Speakers include: Mr Muyiwa Akande, Group Head Corporate Affairs Sifax Group to speak on Using Public Relations Strategy in telling Rotary’s story with impact; veteran broadcaster, Mrs Bimbo Oloyede on Telling Rotary’s story with credibility; Publisher, Marketing Edge, to speak on Strategic media engagement and Rotary’s brand; District Governor- nominee, Rtn Samuel Ayetutu on Brand Centre and Rotary logo; and Rtn Jide Ogunleye, Chief Executive Ritemate Technology Ltd on Using Social media to amplify Rotary’s positive stories.

The Special guests of honour are Rtn Hon Stephen Olukayode Ogundipe, President Rotary Club of Ewutuntun and Chairman Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Information, Strategy and Security and Rtn Dr Segun Musa, Group Chief Executive of Widescope Intl Logistics Ltd.

The Chairman Public Image Committee, Rtn Otun Olalekan revealed that “ Rotarians, Clubs’ Public Image Chairmen, PR experts, advertising and marketing communications practitioners are expected to attend the seminar.”
