SSE Lab CEO Launches Second MBA Program for African Entrepreneurs
Adesola Jimmy-Eboma, the Founder and CEO of Small-Scale Enterprise (SSE Lab), has officially launched the second cohort of the Manufacturing Business Accelerator (MBA) Program, aimed at empowering aspiring entrepreneurs throughout Nigeria and across Africa.
Set to kick off on Sunday, April 20, 2025, the MBA program will commence with a virtual welcome on April 13, 2025. This 12-week online course will culminate in the second MBA Business Shower scheduled for July 17, 2025.
In discussing the upcoming cohort, Jimmy-Eboma emphasized the program’s focus on practical execution, stating, “Participants will graduate with a fully developed product, clear marketing and business strategies, and a comprehensive business plan.”
The curriculum encompasses a broad range of essential topics, guiding participants from the initial concept phase to product launch. Weekly modules will cover areas such as product design and prototyping, market research, business planning, branding, legal compliance, sales strategies, financial planning, and sustainability.
The program features live expert sessions, downloadable resources, guided assignments, a Learning Management System (LMS), and personalized coaching to ensure participants receive tailored feedback and support. “The MBA program is designed to bridge the gap between idea and action, providing entrepreneurs with the clarity, confidence, and practical tools necessary to launch, package, and scale their businesses in just three months,” Jimmy-Eboma remarked.
Reflecting on the success of the inaugural cohort, which ran from September to November 2024 at the Radisson Blu in Ikeja, she noted that the MBA Business Shower allowed participants to present their products and business plans to an audience of industry leaders, potential investors, and fellow entrepreneurs.
Graduates from the first cohort described the experience as transformative. One participant shared that the program provided the critical motivation needed to transition from dreaming to doing, while another noted that the structured approach helped her confidently launch her product.
“The MBA is not merely a course; it’s a movement to cultivate the next generation of product-based businesses created in Africa for Africans. This program is particularly suited for side hustlers, corporate professionals, creatives, and startup founders who have a product idea or an early-stage business requiring structure and guidance,” she added.
