Three Crowns Milk Champions Women’s Well-Being at 2026 August Meeting

Three Crowns Milk, a trusted name in Nigeria’s dairy industry from FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria PLC, once again demonstrated its dedication to empowering women during the 2026 August Meeting in Owerri, Imo State. The brand reaffirmed its commitment to supporting women’s well-being and fostering healthier lifestyles through a memorable celebration that brought thousands of mothers together.
As one of the most significant cultural gatherings in South-Eastern Nigeria, the August Meeting unites women from diverse communities for a unique homecoming focused on community development, engagement, and empowerment. This year’s event provided a vibrant platform for women to connect, share values, and strengthen bonds that sustain their communities.
Living up to its promise of being a brand that genuinely cares for mothers, Three Crowns Milk created an engaging experience featuring interactive activities, dairy education sessions, games, product sampling, and moments of celebration dedicated to honoring mothers’ vital roles in families and society. The highlight was an empowerment initiative where women received knowledge on Health, Finance, and Agriculture, while 30 under-served women were gifted equipment to kick-start their businesses. This activation reinforced the brand’s mission to support mothers and promote healthier, more resilient communities.
Held on Saturday, 15 August 2026, at Umuorii Field beside Umuorii Women Hall, St. Michael Catholic Church, in Owerri, the event attracted women from ten communities, including Umualum, Umuorii, Umuoba, Okwu, Owalla, Owaelu, Umunahu, Orji, Amakohia, and Akwakuma.
The celebration was graced by the presence of Her Excellency, the First Lady of Imo State, Chief Barrister Chioma Uzodimma, represented by Mrs. Nduka Ijeoma, wife of the Managing Director of the Anambra Imo River Basin Development Authority. Her attendance underscored the importance of empowering women and strengthening community ties. The event was also enlivened by the presence of celebrated actress and influencer Ebelle Okaro, whose appearance added excitement and inspiration to the day.
Maureen Ifada, Marketing Director of FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria PLC, expressed the brand’s vision: “At FrieslandCampina WAMCO, we believe that when women thrive, families and communities flourish.
