Wema Bank Partners with Evolve with Edememe to Empower Women Through “Bloom, Lady, Bloom” Workshop

Wema Bank, through its dedicated Wema Women Network, partnered with Evolve with Edememe to host the transformative “Bloom, Lady, Bloom” Workshop on July 30, 2025. Designed to empower female staff, the session focused on helping women reconnect with themselves, overcome imposter syndrome, and build confidence to excel both personally and professionally.

The engaging three-hour workshop was led by Edememe Oladiji-Wusu, founder of Evolve with Edememe, a Confidence and Visibility Coach, and former KPMG director. It was anchored around the practical “Bloom, Lady, Bloom” Workbook—an actionable transformation guide crafted by Evolve with Edememe. Through reflective exercises, open conversations, and strategic tools, participants learned to challenge limiting beliefs and foster personal growth. Attendees described the experience as “phenomenal,” “insightful,” and “life-changing.”

For Wema Bank, this initiative reaffirms its ongoing commitment to promoting gender equality and supporting women’s development. A representative of the Wema Women Network shared, “Since its inception in 2013, our network has been dedicated to enabling women to thrive across all facets of life—personally and professionally. The ‘Bloom, Lady, Bloom’ workshop, powered by Evolve with Edememe, helped our women break barriers, embrace their strengths, and pursue their aspirations with renewed confidence. The positive feedback has been overwhelming.”

Commenting on the partnership, Edememe Oladiji-Wusu stated, “Africa’s growth depends on unlocking the potential of women. When women embrace their full capabilities, organizations and societies flourish. It was inspiring to see Wema’s women step into their power and bloom unapologetically. It’s been an honor to be part of this journey.”

The success of the “Bloom, Lady, Bloom” Workshop illustrates how organizations can empower women by creating intentional spaces for reflection, confidence-building, and unlocking potential.
