All is set to bring together the country’s brightest minds in the creative industry to develop solutions to real-life marketing and media challenges within just two months at the Markhack2.0, Nigeria’s foremost marketing and media hackathon.

The event, which is focused on unlocking the future of the creative economy, will feature keynote speeches, workshops, masterclasses, and mentorship sessions designed to enhance participants’ skills and provide them with the resources they need to develop their ideas into market-ready products.

The hackathon aims to support the growth and development of Nigeria’s creative industry and empower the next generation of marketing and media professionals in the country. Markhack 2.0 is accepting applications for innovations in Immersive Experience, Content Marketing, and Robo-Marketing and aims to explore new frontiers in marketing and media with the support of industry experts, investors, and potential partners.

The event will feature three keynote speakers who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. Bunmi Adeniba, the Senior Marketing Director, Front-Line Marketing, Africa at The Coca-Cola Company, is a prominent figure in Nigeria’s branding and marketing industry. As the Acting President of the Advertisers’ Association of Nigeria and the Regional Vice President for Africa of the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA), she has a vast knowledge of the marketing and advertising landscape in Nigeria and across the continent. At Markhack 2.0, she is expected to bring her extensive expertise to bear as she speaks on topics such as branding, marketing, and the creative economy, with a focus on unlocking innovative solutions for a future-ready industry.

Hannah Oyebanjo, the Managing Director at Redwood Consulting and the CEO of Republicom Group, is an Integrated Marketing Communications expert with over three decades of experience in leadership roles in advertising, public relations, sales, and brand management. She has also been a marketing faculty member at Lagos Business School and trained for various private and public sectors across Nigeria. Hannah is a registered member of industry bodies such as APCON, NIMN, NIPR, ADVAN, and CIM and has served in a leadership capacity in some of them. Her extensive experience in the field makes her an excellent resource to speak on unlocking the future of the creative economy.

Elo Umeh, a seasoned entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in mobile and digital media on the African continent, is the founder and CEO of Terragon Group. As a keynote speaker at Markhack 2.0, his vast knowledge and experience will be instrumental in helping to unlock the future of the creative economy. Specifically, his data and marketing technology expertise will be highly valuable in discussing innovative solutions for the industry. Elo’s passion for leveraging the unique ways Africans use mobile devices to intelligently connect brands to their customers aligns perfectly with the event’s theme.

Markhack 2.0 is a platform for stakeholders to come together to shape Nigeria’s creative economy’s future. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with industry experts, mentors, and potential partners who will provide guidance and support throughout the hackathon. The event promises to be an exciting and educational experience for all involved.
