ADVAN Excos Meet with New SSA to the President, Vow to Collaborate with Govt
The Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN), has pledged to support government’s effort in growing the digital media ecosystem.
ADVAN Executive Council members made this known during a strategy session with the new Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Digital and New Media, Otega Ogra, who is also an Executive Council Member of ADVAN
The meeting provided the opportunity to discuss critical issues in the Nigerian digital media ecosystem.
Mr Osamede Uwubanmwen the ADVAN President expressed his delight in the Nigerian President’s choice for the position, that indeed Mr Ogra was a digital economy guru, who had astutely utilized digital and online resources to build successful multi national brands in Nigeria.
Uwubanmwen pledged the commitment of the association in providing relevant insight and support to the government in creating a truly sustainable digital media ecosystem
Mr, Ogra in his response, said that the President Tinubu led government was enthusiastic of all stakeholder input and support in creating valuable policies for national progress, and that he looked forward to collaborating with ADVAN.
The Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN ) is the only National body for ‘advertisers’ i.e. client side organizations that engage in high level marketing activities to build their brands.
The association was founded in 1992, to advance the interest of the marketing Industry in Nigeria by spearheading and ensuring global best practices as well as facilitating collaborative partnerships with relevant stakeholders.
