DStv to Excite Viewers with Entertaining Series
Viewers will be spoiled for choice as DStv brings an exciting line up of movies, series, shows that are sure to keep movie and entertainment lovers entertained all month long.
To set the ball rolling are two brand new series on M-Net; Better Late than Never, a travel documentary featuring celebrities; Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, George Foreman and Jeff Dye who embark on an adventure through Tokyo, Japan and MacGyver, a 90s action adventure series that follows a young Angus MacGyver who goes on different missions. Both series premiere 03 February at 6:30pm and 7:30pm respectively.
Lovers of Zee World (CH 166) will be captivated by another brand new series titled Reach for the Stars. Reach for the Stars beautifully captures the hopes and aspirations of a domestic worker alongside the trials and tribulations of her daily life. It will be on every week day from 03 February at 5pm.
It’s awards season this month and as always, DStv will bring you the incredible moments from the 2017 Grammy Awards. Join Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic on E! Live on the Red Carpet(CH 124) on Sunday, 18 February at 7pm as they welcome the biggest music stars on the planet to the red carpet and catch up with the nominees, presenters and performers. Then on Sunday, 26 February at 11:30pm, they will be back in action on the red carpet providing viewers with a front row seat to the hottest ticket in Hollywood, the 2017 Academy Awards!
Meanwhile HISTORY® (CH 186) will air a two-hour special that will feature President Barack Obama reflecting on his presidency and the legacy that he hopes to leave behind. The interview will cover everything from the Affordable Care Act (‘Obamacare’) to the hunt for Osama Bin Laden, and will feature Obama’s thoughts on where the country was when he was elected, where it is now, and where he sees it going under his successor’s command. The Obama Legacy will air on Sunday, 26 February at 6:30pm.
Music lovers are not left out as Trace Naija (CH 325) dedicates 60 minutes to four music acts starting with Ice Prince. From his first single ‘Oleku’ Ice prince has definitely shown us how much of a superstar he really is. The magician and recent pioneer of the Super Cool Cats, Ice Prince always keeps it real. Tune in on Sunday, 4 February at noon.
