emPLE Collaborates with LASPARK on Tree Planting Initiative to Promote Sustainability Goals
emPLE, a prominent Nigerian insurance provider, has officially launched its nationwide sustainability program, Green emPLE, with a tree-planting activity in partnership with the Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency (LASPARK). The event took place at the National Theatre in Iganmu, Lagos, marking the start of a broader environmental commitment.
During the launch, emPLE planted 65 trees across key locations in Lagos. The selected tree species were chosen for their ecological benefits, including improving air quality, reducing urban heat, and supporting the city’s environmental resilience.
Oyinlade Olalekan, Managing Director of emPLE General Insurance Limited, emphasized the company’s dedication to sustainability:
