“It has been four years of impacting lives and making December memorable for many children across Lagos. I’m very proud of the work the team has done so far to provide a platform for these children to showcase their skills. I am also pleased with the progress we have made over the years, every edition has been bigger and better than the previous one. Coincidentally, this year’s competition fell during the same period as the 2022 Qatar World Cup, and I am glad we’ve been able to show these children that in a couple of years through hard work, dedication and discipline, they can also make it to the peak of their careers in football or anything they set to achieve in life,” he said.
While presenting the trophy and prizes to the winning team and players, Adebola Williams, Chief Executive Officer, Red for Africa said ‘’I am so proud of all of you. You have been given the skill of football. My advice to you is that you hold it with discipline, commitment and passion, and it will open doors for you.
