Following a competitive pitch process, Insight Redefini, a member of Troyka Holdings and Publicis Groupe Africa, has been appointed as the preferred partner for the Confederation Africaine de Football (CAF), across its geographical footprints, for the upcoming AFCON 2023 and the CAF Women’s Football Tournament.

Following its win of the highly coveted CAF pitch, which adds to its already rich portfolio of global and local brands, it is set to deliver best-in-class commercialization strategies for CAF

The Nigerian integrated marketing communications group, which houses six agencies – Insight Publicis, Starcom Media Perspectives, Leo Burnett Lagos, All Seasons Zenith, Quadrant MSL, and Digitas Lagos, spearheaded the Publicis Sports and Entertainment Africa effort to win the pitch, driven by Publicis Groupe’s ‘Power of One’ philosophy.

Highlighting the remarkable win, Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Tayo Oyedeji, highlighted Insight Redefini’s  commitment to exceeding the needs and all service requirements for the improvement for CAF ahead of AFCON 2023. “Winning the 360 degree communications accounts of CAF’s two major tournaments – AFCON and the Women’s Football Tournament – is thrilling. CAF has been on a journey to revolutionising African football. We are committed to going above and beyond the brief to make the tournaments a complete experience that goes beyond football. Just as we have done with our other home based and global clients, we are doing this again for a sport that unites us all and brings us so much joy – Football. We are excited to be taking on this new creative challenge and improving the overall football experience for all, across Africa.”

With the acquisition of the coveted CAF account, Insight Redefini cements its position as Africa’s preferred communications partner, as it continues to steer the integrated media communications industry in Africa to even greater heights.
