LG Electronics Collaborates with Hinckley Recycling for E-Waste Collection Drive Ahead of World Earth Day
In a significant step towards promoting environmental sustainability, LG Electronics has partnered with Hinckley Recycling Company to embark on a week-long e-waste collection campaign from April 15 to April 21, 2025. This initiative underscores their dedication to responsible recycling practices and environmental stewardship.
The collection drive will accept a variety of electronic items, including monitors, computers, tablets, e-readers, printers, microwaves, electric jugs, blenders, keyboards, and other outdated gadgets. Residents of Lagos are encouraged to drop off their e-waste at the following convenient locations:
- 104 Obafemi Awolowo Way (opposite Access Bank), Ikeja, Lagos
- Nelle Mall, 16 Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Victoria Island, Lagos
Collection centers will operate daily from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM throughout the duration of the drive.
This e-waste collection serves as a precursor to an upcoming sustainability forum, where prominent Nigerian leaders will gather to discuss innovations in environmental practices and the importance of responsible recycling. The forum aims to inspire broader discussions on sustainability and eco-friendly initiatives within Nigeria.
