NIMN Inducts Bolaji Junaid as Fellow

The Founder of WhyFinite, a leading marketing technology company, and the Lead Mentor at the Bolaji Junaid Mentorship Programme (BJuMP), Bolaji Junaid has been inducted by the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) as a fellow of the marketing professional, the highest status of membership.
The seasoned marketing professional and business growth accelerator was inducted alongside 67 other seasoned marketing professionals at the induction ceremony which took place during the institute’s Annual Marketing Conference in Ibadan, Oyo State held recently with the theme “Empowering Nigeria Brands: Leveraging Local Content for Global Success”.
Fellowship in the marketing profession is the highest status of membership in the profession. It is conferred on practitioners who have been registered as (full) members of the profession and have, in addition, met other criteria as well as impacted significantly the development of the profession.
Addressing the new inductees, President and Chairman of the NIMN Council, Mr. Idorenyen Enang, charged them to uphold the highest standards as marketing professionals, continue to contribute to the profession’s growth, and mentor younger professionals.
Commenting on the elevation, Junaid said it would spur him to keep doing more for the growth of brands, the marketing profession, and humanity. “I am humbled and honoured to be inducted as a fellow; I believe it is a call to serve and an opportunity to mentor others.”
He added that the initiative that his company has been embarking on, mentoring students and supporting them will be intensified “We will intensify the lectures, and masterclasses that we have been doing. We will also ensure that we go to schools to make marketing attractive again. I will also support the institute’s programmes to ensure they become much more recognizable and attract more people to the institute. ”
Bolaji is a seasoned marketing professional and business growth accelerator with over 15 years of cumulative experience. He founded Just Passion Concepts in 2009, a creative enterprise he grew from a zero capital base to a turnover of over 2 million naira within a year as a student entrepreneur.
Joined Insight Publicis in 2014 as an executive trainee where he learnt the rudiments of Integrated Marketing Communications. He worked on a portfolio of brands notably Peak Milk where he led the 60th Anniversary campaign execution and launched Nigeria’s first growing up Milk, Peak 456. Others include Amstel Malta, Legend, Smile, UBA, Vitafoam, Scanfrost, and Radix Pensions.
He joined Ogilvy in 2019 as Account Manager where he led Agency/Client relationship on award-winning brands such as 5Alive, GoldenPenny, Carat, Sniper, Purit and So Klin. He played a significant role in the successful relaunch of 5Alive in Nigeria with record EOY sales.
In 2020, he rejoined his career alma mater, Insight Publicis, to lead the legacy account portfolio “Seven Up Bottling Company -developed marketing solutions for her CSD brands like Pepsi, 7Up, Mirinda, Lipton iced tea across markets. In addition were the innovation brand launches, 2Sure, and Supa Komando Energy drink.
He left in 2021 as financial services Account Director on portfolio.
He’s on the board of a few companies as he continually accelerates growth for people, brands, and businesses. He’s building WhyFinite from scratch to become the most preferred marketing technology hub in Africa by 2030.
Bolaji holds a Business Administration degree and a postgraduate degree from Lagos State University and Lagos Business School respectively. He’s attended different trainings and recipient of awards both locally and internationally, including being named as one of 35 under 35 Outstanding Marketing Professionals in Nigeria at the 2022 Brandcom awards.
