Steve Babaeko Now ‘Wears Two Hats’ Becomes President Of IAA Nigeria

The President of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) and Chief Executive Officer of X3M Ideas, Steve Babaeko, has been elected as the President of the Nigerian Chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA).
The global body made the announcement on its LinkedIn page. The association’s congratulatory message reads, “Congratulations Steve Babaeko, the CEO/Chief Creative Officer of X3media for being elected as President of IAA Nigeria Chapter.”
Noteworthy, IAA is a global association with a tripartite membership which comprises sectoral professionals- advertisers, media practitioners and agencies. Established in 1938 in New York, U.S.A , it has presence in over 70 countries across the world.
Babaeko continues to represent Africa on the global stage, having been a member of the jury at the New York Advertising Festival, the Loeries, and the African Cristal Awards. He has also been a speaker at the Cannes Lions Festival and also one of Adweek’s Top 100 Creatives in the world in 2019. He was also conferred with the “Visiting Fellow” honours at the Henley Business School, University of Reading.
Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from the esteemed Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. Outside advertising, he was the former Chairman, Public Relations Committee of the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce.
