The LOGIC Church Launches ‘Jesus + Nothing Worship’ on Good Friday
In celebration of the foundational tenets of Christianity, the Love of God in Christ (LOGIC) Church has announced its inaugural “Jesus + Nothing Worship” event, scheduled for Good Friday, April 18, 2025, at 4 PM. This uplifting evening, hosted at the church’s headquarters in Lekki, Lagos, will focus on the powerful themes of Jesus Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection through the medium of music.
This event provides worshippers with a unique opportunity to engage deeply with the essence of the Gospel. Apostle Flourish Peters, the Lead Pastor and Apostolic Head of the LOGIC Church, emphasizes the importance of worship in the lives of New Testament believers. He stated, “As a Christocentric faith community, this event serves as a wonderful celebration of the gift of Christ, who sacrificed His life for our redemption. Good Friday is the perfect occasion for such a worship celebration.”
Explaining the inspiration behind the event, Peters remarked, “Music is a profound reflection of a culture. The ‘Jesus + Nothing Worship’ will play a vital role in cultivating a culture of Christ-centric worship, showcasing the Gospel of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection through music. Given Nigeria’s vibrant youth culture, heavily influenced by music and the arts, Christ-centered music serves as a powerful conduit to guide this generation toward Christ.”
