Tolulope Medebem Becomes First Female President Of EXMAN

Tolulope Medebem, President, EXMAN

The Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria (EXMAN) has elected renowned marketing professional and , COO/Lead Consultant, Aster Integrated Marketing Limited, Tolulope Medebem as its new president.

The election follows the expiration of Tunji Adeyinka led administration.

Medebem was elected alongside other members at the tenth Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the association held in Lagos.

She will be working with her excos and other members including stakeholders to see to the realization of the association’s vision and objectives. Noteworthy, the vision of EXMAN is to be the respected force for the growth of Nigeria’s brands through meaningful experiences, while its mission is to protect, promote and regulate the strategic interest of certified players within the Nigerian experiential Industry.

Medebem career began in 2003 at Champion where she was a Senior Account Director, a position she held till 2008.

In 2008, she joined Dansa Foods Limited as a Marketing Manager where she was in charge of total brand management, development of communication ideas as well as leveraging for the various categories / brands – MOWA Water, Dansa Fruit Juices and ZIZA Dairy Products.

She left the client side of the divide for the agency when she joined Brand Footprint in 2009 as its Activation/Sponsorship Director.

Medebem also the founding partner of EventPlus for over eight years having started in April 2011 before she left to launch her own company, Aster Integrated Marketing .

At Aster, Medebem is spearheading operations as Chief Operating Officer and Lead Strategist. The young agency is a full service experiential marketing, PR and event agency. Established in Nigeria, it has footfalls Pan Africa. The agency boasts of an experienced team with years of capabilities and consistency in superb delivery and personalized services that ensure and guarantee successful implementation always.

An alumna of the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Tolu holds a degree in Dramatic Arts. She also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).
