Xiaomi Nigeria, a fast growing smart phone company in the country, thrilled its customers with Teni’s live performance at Mi-Xmas Show held at Computer Village, recently.

The show and giveaways, was organised by the fast growing mobile phone company to appreciate Nigerians for their patronage in only nine months of existence in the country.

While appreciating Nigerians at the event, the Marketing Director, Xiaomi Nigeria, Habeeb Somoye said, “This is a means of telling Nigerians thank you. This is our first Christmas celebration in Nigeria and if this is our first Christmas, it is necessary for us to associate with Nigerians by inviting Teniola Apata also known as ‘Teni’ to entertain our customers for the Christmas.

“What that means is that we are leading and we present a leading artiste just in the nine months of our existence in Nigeria. We are not just leading we lead in terms of innovation, good pricing and a very good market penetration.’’

Somoye also noted that Xiaomi moved into the Nigerian market in April, 2019 after the launch of Note 7 with good pricing and Xiaomi was immediately seen as a threat to other brands in the market which led to a general price slash across competing brands in the industry.

Listing out series of models launched in the market since its arrival, Somoye said, “So far so good in 2019, we started with Note 7 and we have launched different series such as Note 7, Mi 9 Series, Redmi Pro, A3 Series and Redmi Note 8 series. And Today, we are launching Mi Note 10 Series and this will be the last model for the year. From 2020, it is going to be another journey for Xiaomi in Nigeria.”

The Managing Director of Xiaomi Nigeria, Seifullah Balarabe Gaya, said it is remarkable for the company to rejoice with Nigerians especially at the yuletide season when lots of gifts are being shared hence the launch of Mi Note 10 series in Nigeria.

Gaya noted that, ‘’Today, we are launching the first remarkable devices in the Nigerian Market, Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro. These devices are world-class; this is a great opportunity for me and the Xiaomi team to present these devices into the market.

“These devices have the highest battery of 5000mAh. With this, it is challenging for other brands to bring this kind of devices as well as the screen with a very cheap price which you cannot see with any other brand at the moment even at the global level”, he said.
